Today was very productive but all of my productivity was in front of the computer and now I’m starting to get dizzy…Its my rest day so no WO today

Every weekend is an awesome weekend when you get to be out on the water! Especially for a dragon boat paddler like me that has a family like team!

Love the fact that mom now gets to go out n eat whatever she wants!
It’s been busy lately for my team. We’ve been focused on technique, logistics, our trip to shanghai, and fundraising. So haven’t been doing much WO’s lately.

Kind of disappeared from you fellow fitblrs there for a bit… Kind of a slow relaxed less productive week so far… I have that feeling I get before I kick it into high gear into a long haul so not much activity this week…

Yesterday was pretty chill too and I got my work out in. I filmed practice today and it will be used to help correct any defects in our teams paddling techniques.
What did I do Yesterday?

Saturday was an awesome ACTIVE day! I biked the San Gabriel River trail to and from practice!
What did I do Saturday?
Today was a nice day… IT WAS FRIDAY!! I chilled today but walked A LOT. I also went to Disneyland by myself, won a stuffed Dumbo, and walked around a lot. I didn’t ride anything I just wanted to tour the whole place and check everything out. Can you tell I go to Disneyland a lot??
What did I do today?
Thursday I found myself getting back on track with things. I started routine push ups and sit ups which will carry on for the rest of the summer into fall. I feel it just naturally falls into place with dragon boating and I noticed that I’ve been paying more attention and feeding my natural necessities in regards to my goals… AWESOME!
What did I do today?
Today was national running day and my legs were still in no condition to run. At the same time I’ve been holding off on runs during the weekdays because of all the walking I do at work. Whether walking or running the wear n tear is the same and I’m trying to avoid injury. The last time I tried running during the weekdays I became borderline plantar fasciitis. So provided I hit the gym I make it up with elliptical or cycling… At least the soreness is wearing off today.
