One thing I love about this season is the abundance in tomatoes and avocado! Today is a sammich kind of day. What have I got here?

Tuna prepped with red onion and jalapeno, sliced plum tomato and avocado seasoned lightly with salt and pepper.  I’ll have these sandwiches with white grapefruit please…

Final 40: Day 12

About to finish the night off with my Daily WO… But before that I just gotta say today was awesome! During work, it was as if my route was talking to me. It kept adhering to my needs. A lot of the gates that I usually find inconveniently locked were either unlocked or the residents were there in the yard to open them for me. When it got hot I was forced to walk through sprinklers which was very refreshing rather than inconvenient. Dogs were also super nice to me today. After work I had lunch with a dear friend Elley who treated me to Mediterranean food and we hung out and watched t.v. until dinner. Dinner was just as great as today experiences as we had Italian for dinner at Mangia Mangia in Huntington Beach. 

What I did today/will do…

  • This weeks workout: I will end today with my WO before reading and heading to bed.
  1. Side V Crunches X 50
  2. Single Leg Lifts X 50 Bilateral
  3. Lunges X 50 
  4. Dips X 50
  5. Mountain Climbers X 50
  6. Burpees X 50
  • Lunch with Elley Mediterranean
  • Caught up on Greys Anatomy and watched some stand up comedy
  • Dinner carbo load with Debbie ( Baker - Vegas) runner GOOD LUCK DEB!

The weekend is here and this will be a super eventful one I’ll try to catch you guys up on it a.s.a.p. cuz’ its going to be really cool!

Final 40: Day 11

Pretty cool day today… literally because I guess we had so much humidity that the marine later decided to hang around the whole half of the day o_O I thought it was supposed to be sunny all week?? with climbing temperatures to the weekend. Whack! Whatever I’m over it. I splurged a bit at lunch today but I’m not trippen. It was half way through my route and   early enough in the day to burn off the rest of the day. Actually it felt good because I had sustained energy the rest of the day.

What did I do today?

  • This weeks workout: I took my time doing these today… then wen’t straight to reading my book again.
  1. Side V Crunches X 50
  2. Single Leg Lifts X 50 Bilateral
  3. Lunges X 50 
  4. Dips X 50
  5. Mountain Climbers X 50
  6. Burpees X 50
  • 2.5L of water - I realized today I don’t like to sip or squeeze water from a sports bottle. I like to gulp water…
  • Random act of kindness - Took a friend to get an ex-ray out of concern for a possible fracture.

Side Note: I wan’t to reach 218lb by the end of next week.
