Wednesdays are my true abilities test. 8 hour day out in the field, 30 min to prep, then off to dragon boat practice for a couple hours!
TODAY is the memorial day for Mr. Wut Yun who’s legend led to today’s dragon boat races!
Just woke up from a long nap! Today, I can say was a highlight for me as a So Cal Gas advanced meter installer. I’ve finally surpassed 100% on my year to date productivity qualifying me for a bonus AND for today’s productivity alone I had 157%. Not even being covered in ants under bushes fazed this focused guy! AND I’ve been in running for top producer of my group. So far IM ON TOP but day to day it changes when my good friend Bill does a little better than me.
Oh but it gets better! My base has done so well that the company set a challenge by giving us a time frame that if we surpass 1000 accounts serviced in one day they would throw us a BBQ… We’re having that BBQ tomorrow!!!
What’s sad is that many people know their desires more than their necessities. And desire can ironically take you down undesired paths. I was guilty of this too at one point or another. But what I believe makes us strong and disciplined is to find a desire in becoming a positive role model for health, for life, and for morality. It simply helps us stay away from falling into the desires that either don’t get is anywhere or ruin our lives in one way or another. Then necessity becomes a whole lot clearer…
So for lunch today I was starving! I scarfed down a BBQ pork Lo mien and a roast duck and wonton soup. My waitress says to me “where does it go??” (That was so flattering because all fat people know, you never get that comment) MY REPLY:
I flexed my biceps… (Waitress blushes)
